Entertainment Lockers, Inc. d/b/a Venue Vault
Effective Date: 09/09/2026 | Last Updated: 09/09/2026
Entertainment Lockers, Inc. d/b/a Venue Vault (“Venue Vault,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) offers two products: (a) Mobile Lockers, deployed at outdoor events and secured by a physical padlock and combination; and (b) Smart Lockers, permanently installed at indoor entertainment venues and accessed by scanning a QR code with the User’s own smart device, which opens our web-based application (“web-app”) in the device’s browser — no native app download or app-store account is required. Both products may be booked in advance on our website, entertainmentlockers.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect for each product and through the Site, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights available to you. This Policy is incorporated by reference into our Terms and Conditions.
1. Information We Collect
The information we collect depends on which product you use and how you book it.
1.1 Both Products
- Identifiers: name, email address, and phone number, collected when you make a booking.
- Payment Information: payment card number, billing address, and transaction history, processed through our third-party payment processors (see Section 4). We do not store full payment card numbers on our own servers.
- Communications: records of customer support inquiries, emails, and other correspondence with us.
1.2 Smart Lockers Only
- Locker Access Data: QR code scan events and locker activation/release timestamps.
- Device and Browser Data: IP address, device identifiers, browser type, operating system, and web-app diagnostic data, collected during your web-app session.
Mobile Locker rentals do not involve a web-app, QR code, account, or any other digital access system — access is by a physical padlock and combination only, and we do not collect locker access data or device/browser data for this product beyond what is needed to process your booking and payment.
1.3 Booking on Our Website
If you book a Mobile Locker or Smart Locker rental in advance on the Site, you may optionally create a Site account (with a username and password) to store your details for future bookings; creating an account is not required to complete a booking. While you browse the Site, we use your IP address and browser type to estimate applicable sales tax on your order, and we use a cart cookie to keep track of your booking while you check out. We retain order records (name, email address, and billing information) for approximately 1–2 years for tax and accounting purposes.
We do not track or collect precise User location data (such as GPS data) for either product or for locker access. The general, IP-based estimate used to calculate sales tax on a Site order is separate from precise location tracking and is not used to locate or track a User. We do not knowingly collect biometric identifiers (such as fingerprints or facial geometry) through the Platform. If biometric-based locker access is introduced at any Venue in the future, it will be subject to a separate notice and consent process consistent with the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA) and any other applicable law.
2. Sources of Information
We collect information: directly from you when you book a locker, create a Site account, or contact customer support; automatically, for Smart Locker rentals and Site visits, through your use of the web-app or Site (e.g., web-app session, cart, and locker access logs); and from service providers, such as our payment processors, who provide us with transaction confirmation data.
3. How We Use Information
We use personal information to:
- Process your locker rentals and payments;
- Verify your identity to release Articles from a locker;
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Platform, Site, and Equipment;
- Provide customer support and respond to inquiries, including refund and complaint requests;
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, theft, and misuse of the Equipment;
- Send transactional communications (e.g., booking confirmations, receipts, rental reminders);
- Comply with legal obligations, such as calculating applicable taxes, and enforce our Terms and Conditions; and
- With your consent or where permitted by law, send marketing communications, which you may opt out of at any time.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may share personal information with:
- Payment Processors: we accept payment through our payment processing partners for Site bookings; processing a payment shares the data necessary to complete or support the transaction (such as the purchase total and billing information) with these providers. Please see the PayPal Privacy Policy, Adyen Privacy Policy, and Apple Pay Privacy Policy for more detail;
- Service Providers: cloud hosting providers and customer support tools that process information on our behalf under contractual confidentiality and use restrictions;
- Venue and Event Partners: limited information (such as rental confirmation and the applicable Venue or Event) necessary to operate lockers at a specific Venue or Event and to support on-site security and lost-and-found procedures;
- Legal and Safety: where required to comply with a subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Venue Vault, our Users, or the public; and
- Business Transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our Site and Smart Locker web-app use cookies and similar technologies for a few specific purposes: a cart cookie keeps track of your booking while you check out on the Site; if you create a Site account, a login cookie keeps you signed in (typically for two days, or two weeks if you select “Remember Me”, and removed when you log out); and a screen-options cookie (lasting about a year) remembers your display preferences. Mobile Locker rentals do not involve the web-app after booking. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through browser settings; disabling cookies may limit certain Platform functionality, such as staying logged in or keeping items in your cart.
6. Who Has Access to Your Information
Members of our team have access to the personal information you provide us as needed to do their jobs. For example, administrators and shop/order managers can access order information (what was booked, when, and for which Venue or Event) and customer information (name, email address, and billing information) in order to fulfill bookings, process refunds, and support you.
7. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to:
- Know / Access: request confirmation of, and access to, the personal information we hold about you;
- Correct: request correction of inaccurate personal information;
- Delete: request deletion of your personal information, subject to exceptions (e.g., records needed to resolve a dispute over unclaimed Articles, or to comply with tax, accounting, or other legal obligations);
- Opt Out: opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising, to the extent we engage in either activity;
- Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: where applicable, limit use of sensitive personal information to what is necessary to provide the Services; and
- Non-Discrimination: exercise any of these rights without receiving discriminatory treatment.
These rights are provided consistent with applicable U.S. state privacy laws — as of 2026, more than 20 states have enacted comprehensive consumer privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), and comparable laws such as the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, Colorado Privacy Act, Connecticut Data Privacy Act, Utah Consumer Privacy Act, Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, and Oregon Consumer Privacy Act, among others, with new state laws (including Indiana, Kentucky, and Rhode Island) continuing to take effect on a rolling basis. Where required by applicable state law, we recognize opt-out preference signals, such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC), as a valid method of exercising the opt-out right. If you have a Site account or have booked with us, you may also request an exported copy of the personal data we hold about you. To exercise a right, contact us using the information in Section 12. We will verify your request using information reasonably available to us (such as your account or booking details) before responding. You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, where permitted by law.
8. Data Retention
We generally retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, comply with our legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, after which it is deleted or de-identified. For example, we retain order records (name, email address, and billing/payment information) for approximately 1–2 years for tax and accounting purposes.
9. Data Security
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children’s Privacy
The Platform and Site are not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, children under the age of 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will delete that information.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date above and, where required by law, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Platform or Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
